- You will not have a restroom available, so bring a bag with supplies, such as a mirror, makeup and hairspray, plus emergency items, such as a needle and thread, for touch-ups and clothing repairs.
- Designate a guest to handle the unexpected during the ceremony, such as asking people on the beach to give the wedding party space or shooing away a flock of noisy seagulls.
- Even if you plan to get married barefoot, bring a pair of sandals just in case. The sand may be too hot to stand on during the day.
- Hire a photographer who specializes in outdoor shootings. Those who prefer to work in black and white or indoors may not be the best choice to capture the lush setting you picked for your wedding.
- Bring bug spray, such as Off, or a skin product, such as Skin So Soft (which smells better), to ward off mosquitoes or other uninvited guests.
- Verify that you will have good weather and what the tide will be. Rain can totally ruin a beach wedding, and the tide could soak you in the middle of your vows.
