Baby Development at 19 Weeks
At 19 weeks gestation, your baby is growing and developing at a substantial rate. You are midway into the second semester and may feel slightly off balance due to the baby growing inside. Standing up too fast may cause your head to spin and you may feel lightheaded. Try to avoid quick movements and lay down on your side until the dizziness passes.

Your baby's brain development is working overtime designating areas for smell, touch, taste, hearing and vision. Your baby might be able to hear you at 19 weeks, so try talking or singing to your baby.
Weight
-
Your baby weighs approximately eight and a half oz., which is almost the same weight as a small tub of cream cheese.

Height
-
Look at a U.S. dollar bill. This six inch bill is about the size of your baby from head to bottom.
Sexual Development
-
If you are having a girl, her uterus and vagina may be forming at 19 weeks into your pregnancy, according to the Mayo Clinic. Her body has already started producing eggs.

As your baby grows you may be experiencing some round ligament pain. This is very common at 19 weeks. This pain usually occurs on the right side of the pelvis and is caused by stretching of the round ligaments that are attached to the uterus. This may be relieved by taking warm baths or putting warm compresses on the area and sleeping on the opposite side.
