Form Factor

At 4.5 by 2.2 by 0.9 inches and weighing in at 5.5 ounces, the Quest is about the same size as most cell phones. This makes the Garmin Quest a truly pocket GPS.
Made For The Outdoors

The Quest is waterproof to IPX7. This means that the device can be submerged in up to 3 feet of water for a period of 30 minutes and still remain functional. The Quest also features a rugged exterior.

Screen Size

This GPS features a beautiful 1.5 by 2 inch color screen. The screen is fully back-lit with an auto back-lighting feature which adjusts the back-lighting according to the amount of ambient light.
Internal Memory

The Quest has 115MB of internal memory. While sufficient for local navigating, if you are taking a long trip you may have to delete some maps along the way. The Quest does not receive live updated maps, but rather stores preloaded maps in memory.
Navigating

The Garmin Quest features street level mapping, and spoken turn by turn directions. Additional maps can be downloaded to a PC and synced to the GPS using the included USB cable.
Battery Life

When not using the 12 Volt car kit, the Garmin operates on an internal 12 Volt rechargeable battery. Garmin rates the internal battery life at 20 hours.
