The simplest persuasive speech topics are those found while you're considering things that are common sense. If it is commonly known, you are probably knowledgeable and will have formed an opinion of the subject, making it simple to create a persuasive speech.

    Light Bulbs

  1. People should use compact fluorescent light bulbs instead of incandescent bulbs because they are more efficient.
  2. Eating

  3. Anorexia is a harmful eating disorder that causes weight loss.
  4. Milk

  5. Children need to drink milk on a daily basis because it is a part of a balanced diet and provides them vitamins and minerals needed to grow.
  6. Flip Flops

  7. People should not wear flip flops because they do not offer enough support for the feet.
  8. Considerations

  9. Other examples of simple persuasive speeches are: peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are better than bologna sandwiches and high heels are more dangerous than tennis shoes. Simple persuasive speech topics should be just that, simple.
