Exercises for Back Pain Relief

Back pain is a common ailment, but there are many exercises you can do to help ease the ache.

  1. Knee to Chest

    • Lie flat on your back, and hold your thigh behind your knee. Slowly bring it to your chest.

    Heel Raises

    • Stand upright with your legs slightly spread, then slowly raise each heel up and down.

    Wall Bends

    • Stand upright with your back resting against the wall. Slowly bend your knees until you're almost to a sitting position.

    Cat Arch

    • Start on your hands and knees with your back straight. Arch your back and hold for 5 seconds.

    Chair Bends

    • While sitting in a chair, lean forward and try to touch the ground with your arms. Hold for 10 seconds.

    The Cobra

    • Lay flat on your stomach. Push downward with your arms as you raise your upper torso and arch your back.
