- If you have experience designing websites, or can use web designing software, try offering web design services to area businesses, organizations, or even artisans. Create a website that offers your services, and price packages. Network with your online friends and business associates to find out if anyone they know needs a website.
- If you have a hobby such as designing jewelry, crocheting, knitting or sewing, turn it into cash by selling your handmade items. Sell them online at eBay, Etsy (see Resources), a blog or your own website.
- If you have secretarial experience or a college degree in office administration, try offering your services to online businesses, or even local businesses in the area. Offer services such as email, data entry, marketing, Internet research, writing resumes and bookkeeping. Be sure to have a portfolio to showcase to possible clients.
