Thanksgiving Art Activities for Kindergarten

Thanksgiving is a national holiday celebrated in the United States. Special dinners, games and activities help commemorate this day.

    Turkey Handprints

  1. Kids can trace their hand prints on to construction paper. Then add a turkey feet and comb.
  2. Feather Headband

  3. Cut a wide strip of construction paper to fit around your child's head. Then have your child cut out feathers from paper and glue them on.
  4. Cornucopia

  5. Children can print, color and cut out various fruits and vegetables. Glue them onto a paper cornucopia.
  6. Mayflower

  7. Let kids design the Mayflower from a cardboard box. They can add elements they would find on a ship like a sail, wooden planks and a steering wheel.
  8. Placemats

  9. Children can make placemats to be used at Thanksgiving dinner. Let children color on wax paper. Add some wax pieces to the paper and top it off with another piece of wax paper. Iron the two pieces together.
