Types of Carnival Games
If you've ever been to a fair or carnival, you've probably heard the shouting workers trying to get you to come play one of their many games. These games allow players to try their luck at winning a prize by completing certain tasks. The tasks can be quite challenging depending on the game.

Duck Pond

A plastic swimming pool is filled with water and small rubber ducks are placed in it. As they float around, the player is allowed to draw out a set number of ducks. Ducks with specific numbers or marks on the bottom earn the player a prize.
Basketball

Basketball games are set up in varying sizes for adults and children. The goal is to get the ball through the basket in a limited number of tries, or to toss a certain number in before time runs out.

Inflated balloons are attached to a board, and players are given a certain number of darts to throw at them. Popping the required number of balloons wins a prize.

The ring toss requires players to throw a set of rings, usually plastic, in an attempt to ring an object. This object can be anything from a plastic duck to a glass bottle and is often hard to hit.
Water Squirt Racing

For this racing game, players spray water at a target to move a cutout toward the finish line. The player who reaches the finish line first wins a prize.
