Email signatures are a way to personalize your outgoing emails. Email signatures reside at the bottom your email and might include your name. Only you can decide what type of message you want to convey with your email signature.

    Business or Personal

  1. Decide if you want your signature be centered on your business or to represent you personally. An email signature will effectively convey the main purpose and focus for which you use your email.
  2. Images

  3. Consider using images sparingly in your email signatures. Small logos or emoticons are acceptable, but you want your signature to compliment your email, not overshadow it.
  4. ASCII Art

  5. ASCII art signatures are the most well-known way to include a signature with your email. These graphics created from text are a little known blast from the past and will make your signature stand out.
  6. Marketing

  7. Use your email signature for marketing by adding your business information, a link or even a small logo. Each time you send an email, you send out a little piece of advertising.
  8. Quotes

  9. Quotes are the most popular item used for email signatures. Find just the right quotations to represent you or your business and attach it to your email to give others an insight into what is important to you.
