Almond oil's uses in the kitchen are well-known since it's a popular choice for dressings and desserts. But it has other advantages for the body besides containing a tasty flavor.

    Soreness

  1. The anti-inflammatory agents that almond oil contains makes it deal for rubbing into sore muscles and joints that are throbbing from overuse or arthritis.
  2. Massage

  3. The oil is popular in massage work since it gives the skin a soft glow and balances its moisture.
  4. Protein

  5. Almond oil is a healthy source of protein since it doesn't contain any cholesterol.
  6. Nutrients

  7. The oil is packed with nutrients. It contains vitamin E, magnesium, zinc, copper and riboflavin, just to name a few of them.
  8. Mono-saturated Fats

  9. While almond oil has a high fat content, it is of mono-saturated, or "healthy" fat. Weight conscious people should monitor their intake, though.
  10. Stretch Marks

  11. It's recommended that pregnant women both consume almond oil to prevent stretch marks and rub it directly on them to make them fade.
