Gastrointestinal side effects are somewhat common with Solodyn use. These include indigestion, lack of appetite, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.

Bloody or watery diarrhea along with stomach cramps may be a sign of a serious reaction, which can also occur after the person stops taking Solodyn. These symptoms call for medical attention.
Pseudotumor Cerebri

Solodyn use is associated with a condition called pseudotumor cerebri, which causes high pressure inside the brain. Symptoms include dizziness, headaches, blurred vision, nausea and vomiting. The symptoms usually disappear when the patient discontinues the drug.
Pregnancy Considerations

Since Solodyn can cause significant risk to an unborn baby, pregnant women should not take this medication.
