The Pentax AF 360 is a dedicated shoe-mount flash for use with all Pentax digital SLR cameras capable of accepting an external flash.

  1. The Pentax AF 360 is 2.7 x 4.3 x 4.5 inches. It weighs 9.6 oz. (without batteries), so it won't add much extra weight to your camera outfit.
  2. Range

  3. The flash offers an impressive range of 2.3 to 17.8 feet. This enables the flash to be used in close-up portraits and to illuminate faraway subjects.
  4. Focal Length

  5. The flash can provide controlled focus lighting to 20 mm on the wide end and up to 85 mm on the zoom end.
  6. Recycle Time and Battery Life

  7. With a full maximum brightness discharge, the flash recycles in 6 seconds. The battery pack (consisting of 4 AA batteries) provides 160 to 300 full-discharge flashes depending on the type of battery used.
  8. Bounce Angles

  9. For fill lighting in darker rooms, the flash can provide bounce lighting at minus-10-, 0-, 45-, 60-, 75- and 90-degree angles. The flash can be locked in the 0-degree position to prevent accidental movement.
  10. Key Features

  11. A key feature of the flash is its modeling light setting. When engaged, this setting strobes the flash for 1 second so the photographer can check the effect the flash will have before taking the photograph.
