During a sorority rush event, each potential new member (PNM) has the chance to get a feel for the chapter. Likewise, it is the time when chapter sisters get to meet each PNM and decide whether she would be a good fit for the chapter. A rush event can strongly impact a PNM's decision, so choosing fun rush event activities is an important part of the recruitment process.

Bake Something

Invite the PNMs to your chapter house for baking cookies or decorating cupcakes. Try using ready made cookie dough or store bought cupcakes so that baking and decorating doesn't take away from the conversation.

Spa Night

A spa night event can help a PNM feel relaxed and at home with your chapter. Set up manicure, pedicure and facial stations where PNMs can meet a few new sisters at each stop.

Make a Craft

Crafts are a great way to show off your chapter's philanthropic side to PNMs. Again, pick an easy craft, like assembling care packages for soldiers, so that you have the chance to talk with each woman.

Attend a School Sporting Event

Going to a school basketball game with your PNMs can be a great way to show off your chapter's school spirit and campus involvement.

Throw a Barbeque

A barbecue always guarantees a fun time for all. It's a way for the PNMs to see your chapter's social side. Set up a bags game or volleyball net, and throw some burgers on the grill and you're set.
