Rules for Digimon Cards
Digimon is one of the many types of collectible battle monster card games. In a standard Arena duel, each player uses a deck of 30 cards. The option is to build the power of the Digimon the player is using in order to win duels.
-
Beginning Setup
-
Both players choose a Rookie card from their deck and place it face down in the Duel Zone. They then shuffle their decks and draw 10 cards each, placing the remaining 19 cards in the Online area.
Power
-
The amount of power a Digimon card has depends on its color (red, green or yellow) and level (Rookie, Champion, Ultimate and Mega). The amount of power is shown by the chart on each card.
-
Digivolve Phase
-
Players can Digivolve their Digimon card if they have a Digivolve card for their Digimon and they can meet the card's requirements. Players place the Digivolve card face down before the turn begins and then place it face up in the Duel Zone once it is their turn.
Battle Phase
-
Players add power to their Digimon by placing Power Option cards in the Power Port. When both players choose to stop or can't play any more Power Option cards, the player with the most power wins the duel.
Results
-
The winner of the duel gets the points stated by the level of the defeated opponent. The winner also gets to keep all Digimon cards in the Duel Zone, while the loser must remove all cards except the rookie card.
Winning
-
After a duel, players draw as many cards needed to bring their hands back to 10 cards and start a new duel. Play continues until one player reaches 1,000 points.
