Poland Currency Conversion

When traveling to Europe many people think the euro is the currency across the entire continent. However, that is not the case. In Poland, zloty is the currency used.

  1. Coins

    • The zloty is available in coins known as groszy. Groszy comes in denominations of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50.

    Paper Money

    • Paper zloty is abbreviated as PLN. PLN comes in denominations of 10, 20, 50 and 100.

    Conversion to Euros

    • Zloty can be converted to euros at any bank or conversion station. One euro is converted into 3.8 zloty.

    Conversions

    • When purchasing items, keep in mind that 200 zloty is 48.4 euros, 20 zloty is 4.83 euros and 50 zloty is 12.09 euros.

    Dollars

    • Zloty converted into the American dollar is not much different than converting into euros. One American dollar is equivalent to 3.06 zloty. This means when you spend 305.50 zloty on an item you are spending 100 American dollars.
