Travel In the Off Season

Spring and Fall are the off seasons for tourism in Maui. These are the times when there are deals to be had. Coincidentally, these are also the nicest times of the year, weather-wise.

Rent A Condo

There are many condos in Maui that rent for far less than a hotel. Most also contain a kitchenette, which saves on eating out.

Pack Your Food

Although you can't bring fruit into Hawaii, nonperishable items such as snack crackers and dried fruit can travel in your luggage.

Rent A Car

There are many guided tours that will take you to the sights of Maui, but the cost of a rental car is much less pricey.

Participate in Free Activities

There is no charge to swim in the ocean, play on the beach or hike around many of the pull-offs on the road to Hana.
