Internet Explorer 7 Requirements

Internet Explorer 7 is a popular Internet browser created by Microsoft and built for the Windows operating system. The software company released Internet Explorer 7 in 2006 as an update to Internet Explorer 6.

  1. Processor

    • Internet Explorer 7 will work only on a computer that has a processor that has 233MHz or more. A Pentium processor is recommended.

    Operating System

    • Internet Explorer 7 will work on Windows XP Service Pack 2, Service Pack 3, Professional x64 Edition or Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1.

    Required Memory

    • For Internet Explorer 7 to operate correctly, the computer must have at least 64 MB of memory. If the computer is running Windows XP Professional x64 Edition or Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1, it must have 128 MB of memory.

    Drives

    • If Internet Explorer is installed with a disk, a CD-Rom drive is required.

    Peripherals and Display

    • The computer must have an Internet connection along with a mouse and a keyboard to operate Internet Explorer 7 properly.
