Knight & Princess Party Ideas

A knight and princess party theme is fitting when both boys and girls will attend the party. Both genders are incorporated and equally celebrated. Include the knight and princess theme throughout the party planning. Does this Spark an idea?

  1. Invitations

    • Use cardstock to make a knight's shield invitation. Cut the invitations in the shape of a knight's shield, decorate the front and write the party information on the back of the shield.

    Cardboard Castle

    • Use cardboard boxes to create a castle for the party. Paint the boxes to resemble the bricks on a castle. Use the cardboard castle as the backdrop for a keepsake picture of each party guest.

    Favors

    • Provide toy tiaras and wands for the girls who attend the party. Give the boys at the party a plastic sword or knight's helmet.

    Cake

    • Create a castle cake by stacking four square shaped cakes of the same size, using icing between each layer to hold them together. Make towers on the castle by using a stack of cookies held together with icing or an empty toilet paper roll covered in icing. Add sugar cones to the tops of the towers to create the roof.

    Costumes

    • Request that the party guests wear princess or knight costumes to the party. You can also provide a few costumes for dress up games at the party.
