The Nintendo Wii, a seventh generation system, is Nintendo's successor to the popular Gamecube system. Whether you are looking for a new game system or want to know more about the Wii in general, there is a lot to learn. The system is one of the most innovative and has changed the way video games are played forever.

    What Features Does the Wii Have?

  1. The Nintendo Wii is an all white console that can be positioned vertically or horizontally. The system features built-in Wi-Fi as well Gamecube controller ports and a game disc loader. The system also features a sensor bar that must be attached in order to operate properly.
  2. What Kind of Controllers Does the Wii Have?

  3. The Wii uses two basic wireless controllers: the Wii Remote and the Wii Nunchuk. The Nunchuk is inserted directly into the Wii remote so one controller is used in each hand. The Wii remote can be used vertically or horizontally, depending on the game.
  4. Does the Wii Come with Any Games?

  5. The Nintendo Wii comes packaged with Wii Sports, but dozens of other games are available for the system including Super Mario games, sports games, action games, puzzle games and games for children.
  6. What Accessories Are Available for the Wii?

  7. A popular add-on to the Wii is the Wii Fit, a base gaming pad. Players can use the pad with the Wii Fit software or additional games like Wii Ski.
  8. What Does the Wii Interface Look Like?

  9. The Wii Main Menu is host to Wii Channels, game and information channels like News, Weather, and the Mii creator tool. Games can also be downloaded through the Wii store and played on through the Wii Channel.
