Handmade Mothers Day Card Ideas

Mother's Day is a special time to show Mom just how much you value her. Nothing says "I love you" like a handmade card. Be sure to create a card that will fit in your envelope.

Wrapping Paper

One way to create a quick and beautiful card is to fold a piece of stiff paper in half and glue a beautiful piece of wrapping paper to the outside.

Dried Flowers

Press some flowers between the pages of a heavy book. Glue them onto the front of your card. Take a piece of clear shelf paper and place it over the dried flowers to protect them.

Card Recycling

Cut out the best pieces of the used greeting cards that you have saved. Glue them onto the card to make a collage.

Glitter

Glue a wide strip of ribbon and stamp some ink flowers to the front of the card. Use glue to write a message and sprinkle glitter over the wet glue. After it dries, shake off the excess glitter.

Childhood

Dip your finger in some finger paints and doodle your artwork with your finger. This will create a child-like look and bring back fond memories for mom.
