Common Spiders of the Southeastern US
While every spider uses venom to kill its prey, only 25 have venom that can affect humans. The effects can be anything from a mild itch to a serious infection, and different people will have a different reaction. Spiders can be fun to watch, but otherwise it's best to leave them alone.
