Types of Prom Flowers

Prom-goers typically coordinate their prom flowers with the color scheme of their outfits. Tradition has it that girls buy their date a boutonniere with one or two blooms and guys purchase a bouquet or a wrist corsage for their escort.

Roses

Since roses signify love, this flower is very fitting for couples who have been together for a while or for a boy that wishes to show his date that he really likes her. Roses can be found in almost any color.

Carnations
