There are many types of canine vaccinations available. The 3 in 1 combines three vaccinations into a single dose injection. The convenience of the single dose means less needle pricks for your pet.

  1. Function

    • The 3 in 1 vaccine protects your dog against Bordetella Bronchiseptica bacteria, Canine Parainfluenza virus, and Adenovirus Type 2.

    Time Frame

    • The 3 in 1 must be given once a year. The first dose should be given to puppies at 8 weeks of age.

    Ingredients

    • The 3 in 1 vaccination contains killed Bordetella Bronchiseptica bacteria, and a safe form of Canine Parainfluenza and Adenovirus Type 2. These virus' are made safe by either genetically altering them or killing them.

    Side Effects

    • The 3 in 1 vaccination has a list of possible side effects. The most common side effect is injection site swelling and tenderness. In some cases, dogs can have an allergic reaction to the vaccination, resulting in Anaphylactoid Shock Syndrome. This is very rare and occurs in less than one percent of dogs.

    Benefits

    • The 3 in 1 vaccination will help to prevent three serious diseases. It is far easier and less expensive to vaccinate than it is to treat an infected dog.
