The city of London provides a multitude of museums for children of all ages. Since 2001, Britain's national museums and art galleries have offered free admission in hopes of extending the country's cultural and historical heritage to residents and visitors.

  1. Natural History Museum

      The Natural History Museum, housed in a Victorian building constructed in 1881, provides interactive exhibits such as roaring dinosaurs, a seasonal live butterfly jungle, and a collection of fossils and minerals.

    Royal Air Force Museum

      The Royal Air Force Museum offers "hands-on" displays, a simulator ride and a collection of restored aircraft representing a century of aviation history.
