Beautiful Fall Wedding Ideas

Fall weddings are becoming more and more popular, because the scenery is beautiful and the weather is temperate. Decorating a fall wedding is a lot of fun, because there are many beautiful colors and decorations that may be used. Consider such items as corn stalks, pumpkins, sunflowers, fall leaves and mums. These ideas will make any fall wedding that much more beautiful.

Centerpieces

Consider taking small pumpkins, cutting off the top, culling out the insides and filling them with mums, or place a candle inside and make a wreath of mums around the base of the pumpkin.

Bouquets

Fall has some beautiful flowers, including sunflowers. Carry a hand-tied bouquet of sunflowers or choose a single, large sunflower to carry.

Altar

Decorate an altar with corn stalks, pumpkins and mums. This is perfect for an outdoor wedding or an indoor wedding within a reception hall. A church reception may not allow the corn stalks and pumpkins, but mums should be allowed.

Wedding Favors

Press some beautiful Fall leaves and make them into bookmarks. Remember to personalize these with the names of the bride and groom and their wedding date. You can do this on the bookmark itself or with a hanging ribbon.

Place Cards

Use individual mini pumpkins and pin the place card tag to the pumpkin. Place on a table with some beautiful mums or fall leaves or at each place setting.

Colors

Regardless of your decoration choices, stick to the fall color scheme. This includes gold, dark yellow, orange and deep reds.
