- Cover everything in those telltale, black and white spots. Use dalmatian table covers, streamers with spots, black and white confetti and a cake decorated with a spotted pup.
- Set up tables with different puppy themes for guests to eat their treats. Give guests poodle, puggle or mini pinscher puppy key chains showing their assigned puppy table. Don't forget to have the song, "Who Let The Dogs Out," playing.
- Use famous puppies like Bruiser, the chihuahua from the "Legally Blonde" movies, Toto from "The Wizard of Oz," and Lassie. Buy decorations, plates, cups and party favors with the mugs of these lovable TV and movie pups.
- Real dogs are great, but use cartoon dogs and have a party that's all about Snoopy, Scooby, Pluto and Odie. Play pin-the-tale on Snoopy. Whack a Blue's Clues piñata. Serve Scooby-Doo snacks.
- For outdoor parties, invite everyone's pups. For your friends without dogs, there will be plenty of licks to go around. Suggest that everyone dress up like their dog, or dress their dog like themselves
