    • Health care administrators at the executive level are responsible for policy directions and oversee compliance with regulations and government agencies. These administrators assess needs and equipment and make recommendations.

    Clinical Administrators

    • Health care administrators can act as clinical managers and health specialists. They supervise specific services in the health care industry. Clinical managers have job-specific training and implement policies and procedures in individual departments such as cardiology, obstetrics and oncology.
