    • The highest concentration of real estate agents occurred in the states of Virginia, Florida, Delaware, Nevada and South Carolina as of May 2008. Agents working in these states had annual median salaries of $49,850, $42,900, $56,300, $74,950, and $47,940, respectively.

    Salaries in Highest Paid Areas

    • Real estate agents in Nevada received some of the highest annual median salaries of all agents at $74,950, as well as those who reside in Hawaii with a figure of $82,470, New York with $81,440, the District of Columbia with $77,490 and Massachusetts with $74,040.
