Although wireless Internet has seriously improved a lot of aspects of people's lives, wired Internet continues to be in wide use for its connective stability. Wired Internet is still preferred for servers, which run websites that cannot depend on signal strength for their data transfer.

Problems with Wireless Internet

If your router has a default configuration that turns off wireless Internet capability, you will not be able to access its configuration panel if your router configuration would ever be reset. Also, you have less bandwidth, since most wireless routers are only designed to provide a certain amount of broadband.
Problems with Wired Internet

Having a laptop attached to a wired Internet connection will limit your ability to move around in the room where you are working. Wired Internet connections were not created with mobility in mind.
Which one is Better?

There is no proper answer to this question. The use of wireless Internet and wired Internet is preferred interchangeably, depending on conditions that need to be met in a certain situation. Most routers that have wireless capability also have Ethernet ports where you can connect computers with a wire.
