It is the American dream to own a business. It seems as if people have a view that they will never have to listen to anyone, can sip cocktails on the beach while money is coming in, and do whatever they want as their own boss.

    To Get Rich Quick

  1. As long as there have been businesses, there has always been the person who wants the money without the work. In general, these people tend to buy programs promising wealth with no effort.
  2. I Hate My Job

  3. Statistics vary as to the amount of people who say they hate their job and dream of escaping to the land of entrepreneurship.
  4. My Family Has Always Been in Business

  5. There are some who believe they must join the ranks of entrepreneurship since their family is in business. Some feel resigned to having to running the family business, when their passion lies elsewhere.
  6. I Won't Have to Work Much

  7. The reality is that entrepreneurs work longer than their employed friends. They tend to work more than10 hours per day.
  8. I Can Work Whenever I want

  9. This is one of the biggest myths to overcome, but the bottom line is that this only true if you do not want to have clients. The business has to be there when the clients are more likely to be there.
