An ECA stack is used mostly to burn fat. It consists of Ephedrine, Caffeine and Aspirin. Diet pills containing ephedra or ephedrine were available for purchase at most stores until the FDA banned them for safety reasons.

    History

  1. Ephedrine has been banned and allowed numerous times over the past decade. It is currently banned by the FDA for high risk side effects. In 2003 a Baltimore Orioles pitcher passed away from heatstroke and the ephedra pills he was taking to lose weight, were said to have played a part in his death. There have been numerous other serious and minor health incidences reported by consumers using ephedra.
  2. Significance

  3. Ephedrine was once found in diet pills and was highly effective in weight loss for the sedentary.
  4. Function

  5. By combining ephedrine, caffeine and aspirin, an individual will have optimal ingredients for burning fat. This ECA stack is often used by body builders and other extreme athletes.
  6. Considerations

  7. While ECA stacks are highly effective and can be purchased without violating laws, they are extremely unsafe. The products that still contain ephedrine cannot be purchased easily and vendors distributing them may not disclose the product contents or expiration accurately. Anyone using ECA stacks needs proper education and supervision.
  8. Warning

  9. The FDA ban has held strong and will most likely continue to do so. It is not recommended that amateurs create and consume their own ECA stack. Professionals using ECA stacks have studied how to introduce the drug to their body and how to cycle it to avoid the deadliest of side effects. This does not mean that they do so without extreme risk and consequences.
