Florida is home to hundreds of campgrounds and RV parks. The state of Florida requires specific safety, hygiene and cleaning guidelines for all parks, regardless of the months per year the facilities are in operation. Florida state law also requires specific permits and that commercial zoning laws be adhered to at each location.

Florida law does not require owners of campgrounds and recreational parks to be liable for visitor's personal goods, such as money and jewelry.
Florida Campground and RV Park Guidelines

Florida campground owners or operators can create reasonable rules and guidelines for park use. The rules should be printed and given to each guest and staff member, and serve as a legal contract for park use.

Removal of Patrons from a Florida RV Park or Campground

Owners or operators can remove from the park any visitor who causes physical harm to property, another person or fails to pay fees associated with usage of the park. The operator of the campground or recreational park can also eject visitors who disturb other guests or possess firearms and illegal drugs.

A campground or recreational park can not discriminate based upon race, religion, national origin, color, sex, creed or physical disability.
Florida Fines and Misdemeanor Charges for Failure to Pay Bill

Florida campground and recreational park guests can be charged with a misdemeanor fine if found guilty of an attempt to defraud by not paying for their length of stay or property damaged during a designated stay. Park patrons are liable for guests to their campsite or a recreational vehicle reserved spot at a park.
