Every peer who has a copy of the content acts as a mini file server. Each user sends a small portion of the entire file to the client computer, and BitTorrent DNA reassembles the data.

BitTorrent DNA is installed without user agreement with the normal BitTorrent software, and starts automatically with Windows on boot without the users notification. Also, BitTorrent DNA at this time has no automatic uninstall method; rather, the user has to uninstall BitTorrent completely.
