Natural Colon Cleanser Foods

The colon can be cleansed naturally by eating foods rich in insoluble fiber. Insoluble fiber is the part of plant foods that can't be digested by the body. This kind of fiber adds bulk to to the waste. It cleans the colon when this bulk moves through the walls of the colon through a process called peristalsis. This process of small contractions of the muscles in the colon move the fiber through the colon and take buildup on the colon walls out of the body with it during a bowel movement.
