Electronic Dart Board Rules

Electronic dart boards add ease to the game by keeping track of points so players can keep playing. These boards may also come with a variety of games, each having separate rules. General dart game rules apply to electronic boards, like taking turns and standing a certain distance away.

Count Up

A total score is given and the object of the game is to reach the score first. The numbers on the board represent point values. Where the dart lands is how many points the player gets.

High Score

A game of High Score has three rounds of play. Whichever player achieves the highest score by the end wins.

301

A total score is given and the object is to work backwards down to zero. If the player goes past zero then he "busts" and returns to the score he had at the beginning of his round.

Shooter

The board randomly selects segments and players must group their darts together in the segment. One dart equals one point. Two darts equal two points, and three darts equal three points. A Bullseye is four points. The player with the most points by the end wins.

Overs

The object of Overs is to score a higher total than your previous round. Players are given lives. If they fail to go over their previous totals--or tie it--they lose a life. The last player alive wins.
