Side Effects of Erectile Dysfunction Medication

Men who have the disorder called erectile dysfunction are able to get an erection. However, they are unable to keep the erection for the amount of time needed to engage in sexual intercourse. The most common prescriptions drugs prescribed to combat erectile dysfunction are Cialis, Levitra and Viagra. The side effects for all three of the medications are essentially the same.

    Headaches

  1. Cialis, Levitra or Viagra may cause headaches.
  2. Stomach Discomfort

  3. Cialis, Levitra or Viagra may also cause upset stomach or diarrhea.
  4. Muscle Pain

  5. Men who take Cialis, Levitra or Viagra may have back pain.
  6. Facial Redness & Warmth

  7. Cialis, Levitra or Viagra may cause the face, chest or neck to appear red and to feel warmer than normal.
  8. Nose & Throat Symptoms

  9. Those men who take Cialis may experience a sore throat or stuffy nose. Those who take Levitra or Viagra may experience a stuffy nose.
  10. Memory Issues

  11. Men taking Cialis, Levitra or Viagra may experience memory problems.
