What Is a USB Adapter Used for?
Universal Serial Bus technology, or USB for short, was introduced in 1995 with the intention of connecting computers. As the format caught on, USB technology was no longer limited to computer connectivity. Unfortunately, USB connectivity is still not standard in many devices, so adapters are needed to plug certain devices into USB ports.
