U.S. Army Class B Uniform Regulations

The old Army green is out. The uniforms are now blue, which is in accordance with the way the Army uniform was designed by George Washington. The new rules are more streamlined and easy to follow.

  1. Shirts

    • It can be a short- or long-sleeved white shirt. The long-sleeved shirt can be worn with or without a four-in-hand tie for the men and with or without a neck tab.

    Trousers

    • Trousers for the men and the slacks for the women are blue and must be belted. The women also have the option of a blue skirt.

    Shoes

    • Shoes for the men can be either combat boots or black oxford shoes. For the women, they can be combat boots, black oxfords or black pumps.

    Combat Service Badge

    • For the men, the combat service badge must be between the bottom of the right pocket flap and the bottom of the pocket. For the women, on the right side, parallel to the waistline of the shirt.

    Variations

    • Variations include a black windbreaker, black pullover sweater or a black cardigan sweater.
