What Is Quilling Paper Made of?

Quilling is a craft that uses thinly cut pieces of paper to create three-dimensional designs. Artists make floral and other creations for decoration and jewelry. The craft is also known as paper rolling, filigree and paper scrolling.

  1. Paper Types

      Small strips of paper are used to make the designs. The average paper weight is that of copy paper, but specialty papers such as parchment may also be used.
