What Are Rain Gutter Cleaning Tools?
Leaves and seeds from trees can accumulate in your gutters and slow down or even stop the flow of water from your gutters to your downspouts. Rain gutter cleaning tools can help in removing the leaves, seeds and other debris from your rain gutters. Does this Spark an idea?
-
Simple Tools
-
Rain gutter cleaning tools range from the simple to the sophisticated. Simple rain gutter cleaning tools are a ladder to reach the gutter, a gloved hand to remove the leaves and a small bucket to put the debris into for disposal.
Sophisticated Tools
-
There are more sophisticated tools on the market, such as a cleaning wand that attaches to your garden hose, extends to reach the gutter, and the force of the water cleans the leaves from the rain gutter. There is even a more costly robot that will clean your rain gutters.
-
Benefits
-
There are benefits to the more sophisticated rain gutter cleaning tools as opposed to climbing a ladder and removing the leaves manually. One benefit is safety (not having to climb a ladder); another benefit is that using water to flush the gutter does a more thorough job.
Time Frame
-
No matter what rain gutter cleaning tools you choose, it is best to clean your gutters twice a year. Clean them in the autumn after most of the leaves have fallen, and then again in the springtime to remove any remaining leaves and debris.
Warning
-
If you choose to use the simple tools, use caution when placing and climbing the ladder. Also, if you use the more sophisticated rain gutter cleaning tools, be careful not to damage the gutter when cleaning, as it is easy to put downward pressure on the cleaning wand and damage the gutter.

Hey, I agree, the Gutter Clutter Buster is "the best gutter cleaning tool on the market today." I've tried them all over past 20+ years, then found this one, and I couldn't be happier. This new gutter cleaner cuts my time in half, saves me time, money, and energy. Love it. What took so long to make a cleaning tool that actually work from the ground? Don't have to climb ladders anymore and that this tool a great safety factor! No more water wands or blowing all that gunk all over every. Kudos to the owners of this great product.
