Breast Growth

If you experience changes in the breast area, including growth or breast pain, while using Depo-Testosterone, contact your doctor.

Testicles

Changes in the size or shape of your testicles while taking Depo-Testosterone could indicate a serious problem. Contact your doctor immediately.

Erection

If you experience painful erections or erections that last a long time while taking Depo-Testosterone, stop using it and contact your doctor.

Mood Changes

If you begin to feel depressed, anxious or irritated, or experience any other mood changes while taking Depo-Testosterone, contact your doctor.

Other Serious Side Effects

Other side effects that should be reported to your doctor include jaundice, dark-colored urine, gingivitis, nausea, decrease in appetite, ankle and leg swelling, weight gain and trouble urinating.

Non-Serious Side Effects

Some people taking Depo-Testosterone experience mild side effects that are not serious and do not need to be reported to your doctor. These include acne, change in sex drive, gum pain, headaches and hair loss.
