What Is a Fitball?
New, popular ways to work the body make use of novel exercise tools and systems. One of those tools is a Fitball, which is made by a company called Ball Dynamics.
-
Function
-
The Fitball is inflated with air and used to target all the areas of the body. They can be used for strength training, rehabbing, flexibility, aerobic training and core strength.
Size
-
Fitballs come in four different sizes: 45, 55, 65 and 75 centimeter. Each one of these is coordinated to specific heights.
-
Burst
-
The Fitball is burst resistant. This means, when you are working out on it and it happens to break, it will deflate slowly instead of exploding.
Features
-
The Fitballs have weight capacities that go from 600 to 2250 pounds, they are color coordinated with their size and they are made from latex free, flexible material.
Inflation
-
The balls come with a workout poster and inflation pump that is hand held. The pump inserts air while it is being pushed and pulled causing the ball to pump up faster.
Geography
-
The Fitballs are available in America and Canada.
