Process

Faux sealing wax comes in sticks that are loaded into a hot glue gun and squeezed out, just like glue. The faux sealing wax is then stamped with a sigil.

Traditional wax seals can be broken upon delivery to preserve the envelope, but faux wax seals are flexible, meaning that the envelope itself usually has to be cut open.
