Types of Carpet Stains
Every house that has carpets has its share of stains. Even the most careful and clean adult will have an accident now and then. However, it seems that where there are pets and children, there will also be carpet stains, as these are the most common stain-producing culprits. There are a variety of stains that are typically found on carpet, and some are more common than others. Does this Spark an idea?

Dirt

Dirt and mud stains are very common, especially in poor weather. These stains are generally found in high traffic areas of homes.
Juice

Juice stains can almost always be found where small children are about. Red and purple juice is the most difficult to remove.

Sauce stains can often be found in carpeted kitchens. The most difficult to clean are spaghetti or marinara sauces, and barbecue sauces.
Blood

Blood stains are near impossible to remove. Prompt blotting and dilution of the stain is key to cleaning this mess.
Urine

Urine stains are normally caused by small children and pets that are in the process of potty training. These stains must be cleaned with a vinegar-based substance to remove the smell.
Vomit

Vomit is one of the most disgusting and difficult stains to clean. Vomit stains are most often from ill pets, but can be caused my small children who do not make it to the bathroom in time.
