Treatment for Clogged Pores

There are two types of clogged pores. Blackheads are pores that contain dust and dirt but are not completely clogged. White heads are completely clogged pores. Here are some treatments for clogged pores.

  1. Soap and Water

    • Wash your face with soap and water every morning and every night before you go to bed. Rinse it thoroughly.

    Alcohol Pads

    • After washing your face with soap and water, you can apply an alcohol pad. Wipe the pad over your entire face or anywhere you have acne. The alcohol will remove oils and clean out clogged pores.

    Astringent

    • Astringent can be used on areas where you have blackheads. Pour astringent on a cotton ball or pad and wipe it over the area in the morning and at night.

    Facials

    • After having a consultation with a facialist, you may have a facial treatment. Facials deeply clean clogged pores and relax the skin.

    Microdermabrasion

    • Microdermabrasion roughens up your skin to reduce the appearance of pores. This loosens dead skin that is known to clog pores. Your skin becomes smoother due to collagen that gets stimulated.
