Fungus can be found in everyday life. When we go outside, there is fungus. There may even be fungus within our own homes. For people with fungus allergies, having this type of mold around can cause serious health concerns. There are ways to help you determine if you have a fungus allergy and ways to control it.

    History

  1. Mold is a result of organisms broken down from dead material. As a result of this, nutrients are recycled back into the environment. It is a way of digesting plant or animal matter. Tiny spores are then lifted into the air.
  2. Effects

  3. People with asthma problems, in particular, may find it hard to breathe and begin to wheeze if mold is present.
  4. Signs

  5. Stuffy and runny nose may be present. Because of the mold spores lifted into the air, this can cause your sinus cavity to become inflamed or swollen, making it harder to breathe through your nose. Itchy and watery eyes are also a sure sign of a fungus allergy.
  6. Symptoms

  7. Rashes or hives become evident. A rash may become present whether you physically touched fungus or not. If bad fungus gets into your system, it may cause a reaction with your body, allowing a rash to develop on your skin.
  8. Considerations

  9. If you are susceptible to a fungus allergy, carefully choose what types of foods you eat. Some foods that are common sources of fungus or mold include cheeses, mushrooms, vinegar, breads and other yeast products, and hot dogs.
  10. Prevention/Solution

  11. Dry linens completely, clean old food out of dishes instead of leaving them in the sink, and take out the trash regularly. Dust everywhere in your home. Doing these things can help decrease the amount of mold in your home.
