  3. The Lemon Cleansing Diet consists of a combination of lemon juice, maple syrup, cayenne paper and hot water, taken six to 12 times a day for 10 to 40 days. No other food or drink should be consumed during the Lemon Cleansing Fast.

  5. The Lemon Cleansing Diet is designed to cleanse the kidneys and the digestive tract while eliminating toxins from the bloodstream and rejuvenating the nervous system, joints and muscles.
  6. Effects

  7. Though the rations seem limited, hunger should not be a problem. The combination of cayenne, maple syrup and lemon juice provides all of the body's nutritional needs for this limited period of time.
  8. Considerations

  9. When coming off the Lemons Cleansing Diet, introduce solid foods gradually, and stick to simple vegetarian meals while your body readjusts.
