What Causes Pale Skin & Baggy Eyes?
Millions of people are afflicted with pale skin and baggy eyes. It can be difficult to understand or to figure out what may be causing your skin to appear pale, or what may be causing your eyes to become dark and fluid-filled, but there are many causes for these conditions.
-
Allergies
-
Allergies can cause the eyes to become inflamed and congested, and can also sap the body of energy. This can result in pallor in the skin and fatigue.
Lack of Sleep
-
Sleep deprivation can cause the eyes to appear dark and sunken. If you lie flat while you sleep, this can contribute to puffiness below the eyes and paleness of the skin.
-
Heredity
-
Heredity can play a major role in determining whether you will be prone to pale skin and baggy eyes. If relatives appear to have pale skin and bags under their eyes, it could be likely that this is the reason for your condition.
Consuming Too Much Salt
-
When the body contains too much salt, it can take on a pallor and can make the body retain water. This can cause puffiness in the eyes and around the face.
Anemia
-
Anemia is a dysfunction in the body's ability to absorb iron, and can cause fatigue, pale skin, dark circles and puffiness under the eyes, and weakness.
