    Shortness of Breath

  1. The symptoms of asthma attacks include shortness of breath or difficulty speaking more than a few words due to a lack of air.

  3. Coughing and wheezing are telltale signs of an asthma attack.

  5. Worsening of wheezing or shortness of breath during the night can be signs of asthma attacks.
