Hair infusion is a type of extension procedure that fuses strands of synthetic or human hair to a person's own natural hair. It is referred to as a cold infusion method as the application doesn't require the use of any heat. The extensions are applied using pre-tipped keratin protein adhesive glue. Hair infusion can be done on any hair type and give the flexibility to be styled and colored in any way while maintaining invisibility.

Different methods of hair infusion include silica (supports new hair growth), flashpoint, micro flashpoint and the regular infusion.

The hair infusion process takes about three to six hours to complete and stays in anywhere from two to six months depending on the person's original hair.

Hair infusion does not damage a person's own hair by pulling it out or burning it the way regular weaves or extensions can.

Hair infusion is not recommended for people with thinning hair or those with hair shorter than 2 inches.
